Portrero

In Potrero Hills today with Bhautik and Briony.  We met for brunch at Chez Manan and finished out with a Mocha down the street at Farley's. The sun was shining and the skies were blue, something we really haven't seen all week in Sausalito.

The Lift

The floor of the lift at work.  I found myself just gazing at the light pattern on the floor. This lift moves very slowly - only three floors.

Old Friends

A fun-filled evening catching up with good friends. It has been too long.

We met at the Blue Stem - a new restaurant in San Francisco that reminds me a good times in Sydney.

Cafe Tales

Cafe Tales

I find sitting in cafes to be an interesting transition from one conversation to another as people walk by or sit within ear shot.  This morning, their was a slight altercation over two people wanting to use the same power point, but because one was a Mac user and the other a PC - the ads never address this topic - both their power cords couldn't use the same power point apparently. The end result was Mac leaving all together.  Longer battery life in notebooks might be helpful.  Just a thought.

The Perfect Gift

I'm quite pleased with the result of this little book.  The headbands are hand sewn and the overall construction turned out solid. The bookcloth is Japanese silk with natural fiber paper that provides a tactile diversity when this book is held.

This is the perfect gift for my favourite artist, my Mum.

Book dimensions are: 5 x 5.5 inch book  (12.7 cm x 13.97 cm)
Paper: high quality Somerset with deckle edges (200 page book)
